Guidelines for Reviewers - TrustPiple

Guidelines for Reviewers

TrustPiple offers a platform for expressing genuine experiences to allow consumers to make informed choices and businesses to change for the better. In order to have a safe and honest platform, we request all reviewers to adhere to these simple guidelines.

When to Write a Review

You should only review after having an actual, personal experience with a company. This may involve buying a product, utilizing a service or communicating with customer support. Ensure that the experience was within past 12 months, as outdated feedback might not truly represent the company's present practices.

Additionally, reviews based on incentives such as rewards, gifts or discounts are prohibited. If you are offered an incentive for leaving a review, then we ask you to inform TrustPiple.

Avoid Fake or Biased Reviews

It is important that the review be from your own experience and not made-up stories or someone else’s experience. You shouldn't review a business where you have some strong relationship like you are its employee or business competitor. That makes the feedback neutral and valid.

Do not take bribes to write, modify or remove reviews. Such actions can manipulate the integrity of the platform, deceive consumers and provide unfair benefits to companies.

3. Keep Proof of Your Experience

Maintain records of your experience, like receipts, order confirmations or screenshots of customer support conversations. This can validate your review if necessary. The maintenance of this documentation makes your feedback credible and guards the integrity of your review.

4. Be Respectful

TrustPiple is a platform for respectful and constructive feedback. Positive or negative, your comments should not include harmful, discriminatory or defamatory terms. Refrain from focusing on personal attacks and use language that is not offensive. Personal attacks or offensive words are not allowed and may result in your review being deleted.

Respectful criticism is most likely to initiate positive change and assists in upholding a secure environment for all.

5. What Is Defamation?

Defamation is making false accusations that harm another person's reputation. When you leave a review, keep it to the facts of your experience and refrain from spreading false or harmful accusations. We encourage honesty from reviewers but also strive to prevent false allegations and harmful accusations from being published on the platform. TrustPiple is meant for sharing true experiences, not for settling personal or legal grievances.

6. No Marketing or Promotions

TrustPiple is not an advertising, self-promotion or marketing platform. Keep your reviews centered on your experience with a company's products or services. Do not add promotional codes, links to external sites or promotions. Reviews should be pertinent to your experience and not applied in selling or marketing products.

7. Protect Privacy

Since your reviews are visible to the public, it is essential to protect your own privacy and privacy of others. Don't post sensitive personal details, including complete names, phone numbers, addresses or email addresses. This should not only apply to your details, but also to those of staff or other customers. Posting private facts can put your own safety or safety of other people at risk.

8. Verify Company and Domain before Posting Reviews

Verify that you are reviewing the correct company and domain prior to posting any reviews. It is very simple to leave a review for another company by mistake, particularly if a company name is very similar to others. Ensure your review goes to the correct company by double-checking on the right domain and company profile. This little action guarantees your review is posted properly and avoids confusion.

9. User Accounts

In order to leave a review, you will need to make a user account. One account per user is acceptable and it should reflect your true identity. You are not allowed to impersonate others or make multiple accounts. Your username, description and picture should be suitable and free of harmful or offensive content.

Your account should also be linked to an active email address so TrustPiple can get in touch if needed. If you violate these rules, your account may be deleted and reviews removed.

10. Edit or Delete Your Review

You can edit, update or remove your review at any point in time. If your experience has changed or you wish to provide additional details, you are free to do so by updating your review. Just do not post multiple reviews for the same company unless your experiences are varied. Bombarding a company with an excessive number of reviews does not benefit others and will create clutter on the site.

11. Flagging Problematic Reviews

If you find a review that is against TrustPiple’s rules, you can flag it. Please flag only reviews that you actually think break the rules. Flagging reviews helps us to maintain the quality of the platform. We will review flagged content and take appropriate action if necessary.

12. Serious Violations

If your review breaks the guidelines, we can temporarily remove it and request that you edit it. Repeated violations may result in the removal of your review or blocking your account. TrustPiple also employs software to identify suspicious or phony reviews, which will be automatically removed.

If you abuse the site seriously, for example by writing defamatory, untrue or abusive content, we will delete your reviews and can block or delete your account.

13. Final Decision

TrustPiple reserves the right to interpret and enforce these guidelines. We reserve the right to change them at any time in order to provide a fair and reliable platform. If you are unsure or require further explanation, please refer to our Support Center for more information.

By adhering to these guidelines, you help keep TrustPiple a safe and reliable place for sharing experiences. Your authentic feedback assists businesses in flourishing and enables consumers to make thoughtful decisions. Thanks for being part of the TrustPiple community!
